Ingredients for Deep-fried Mutton
- Mutton: 400 Grams
- Mustard Oil: 100 Milileters
- Onion: 50 Grams (finely chopped)
- Curry Leaves: 2 Pieces
- Green Chillies: 10 Grams
- Tomato: 50 Grams (Finely Chopped)
- Turmeric Powder: 2 teaspoon
- Chilli Powder: 1 Teaspoon
- Salt: 2 Teaspoon
- Fennel Seeds: 1 Teaspoon
- Garam Masala: 2 teaspoon
- Egg: 2 piece
- Flour: 50 Grams
- Coariander Leaves: For garnish
Method of Making
The process of making a deep-fried Mutton is really simple. Just dip the mutton in batter, heat up some oil, and deep fry the meat. That is all there is to making this dish.
Total Time: 20 minutes
Step 1: The Batter
– Crack the egg
– Mix in the spices and veggies
– Dip the mutton meat into this mix and coat it well
– Coat the meat with flour
Step 2: Fry it up
– Heat the oil
– Crack some Fennel seeds in it
– Drop the mutton and fry till golden brown
Step 3: Garnish and Serve
– Soak up the excess oil
– Garnish and serve with coriander leaves
Side Note* you can pressure cook the mutton to tenderize it before frying.
