In Hindu ancient epics, it states Vyasa or Ved Vyasa, to be the leader of the Rishis and Gurus. He is considered the Sage of power with the power of prediction. He just believed him to be his teacher and made a sculptured image, upon whose presence he practiced and became the greatest. That is the power of the teacher. The story had the point of faith that a student has towards the teacher. Eklavya easily, cut off his right thumb and sacrificed it for his teacher.
