NATHM is a college that is solely focused on courses related to Travel and Tourism and Hotel management. This college was founded by the Government of Nepal back in 1972. The technical help was provided by UNDP as well so this college has a good history. The Bachelor’s in Hotel Management program was started in 1999 and it has continued to this day.
The other programs that are offered in this college are Bachelors in Travel and Tourism Management and Master in Hospitality Management but for now, we will focus on BHM.

2. International School of Tourism and Hotel Management (IST)
Similarly, like the previous entry IST is focused solely on upgrading the sector of Travel and Tourism and Hotel Management as the name suggests. Established in 2003, the main goal of this college is to provide eligible personnel to make the hotel and travel Industry better and run smoother. Unlike the one above though, the courses here are for Diploma rather than Bachelors.
Other courses that this college provides are High school (10+2) in Management and Diploma in Hotel/Tourism Management which is the same level as high school (10+2). Here we will focus on the course for a higher Diploma for Hotel Management
