You can start by asking a friend. You have a better chance of getting a loan if you are on good terms with them. But what if you are seeking a small loan for a small call?

In this case, you take a loan from your service provider which in our case is either NTC or Ncell. In spite of this, those who use Ncell are well aware of how to take out a loan. And FYI NTC offers loans as well. It is surprising how this service is so little-known.

The reason for this is NTC has a good record of saving data – especially when it comes to balance.

The internet has become a necessity for youths today.

NTC offers cheap and long-lasting data packages.
NTC also offers different voice packages.

As a result, we have a lower risk of losing data unknowingly. In this way, people usually know if their balance drops and recharge right away.

Occasionally, though, things don’t always work out as you would like; perhaps you’re broke, or maybe there are no shops open, and you need to make a call.

So, what are the loan procedures at NTC?

Well before we go into that there are a few things you need to know about Loans in NTC.

Some pieces of information you Should Know!

Obviously, if you need loans from NTC, you are probably in a desperate situation. It’s quite likely that you will be at a time and place when you can’t recharge and will need to make a call. However, before you get started, make sure that you read these details.

Unlike Ncell, the loan amount in NTC is not fixed. This is not the case however as the loan that you get depends on a multitude of factors. These includes:

  • Customer Loyalty (Usage of NTC network by a said person)
  • Recharge Frequency
  • Age of SIM Card
  • Recharge Amounts

The loan amount that you receive depends on these factors and can range between NRs 5 and NRs 20.

As we have mentioned, the loan credit that you get from NTC depends on various factors. Now while we admit that the average cell service doesn’t really need many loans, it is still a good thing to know the amount you get. That small amount of loan call helps you at least whisper “Hey call me back” to “So I need you to call me back. That sometimes does the trick.

Check the maximum loan credit that you can get you to have to:

Type <Status> and send it to 1477.

Once you do this, you will receive a message showing the maximum loan credit that you can take from NTC.

The thing about loans is, you have to pay them back sooner or later. While you can use some amounts as loan credit you have to recharge in time if you want to continue using the service. Once that loan balance runs out, you won’t have any balance for your SIM card to use anymore. Due to this, you should be aware of the credit you have left.

Check the remaining loan Credit on NTC you have to:

Now we have come to the crux of the matter. How do you take loans on NTC? There are two ways to use this service. These methods are:

Subscription

You can set up the service so you get loans automatically every time your balance runs out and you call. As you do this, you will continue to receive notifications about low balances. This means as soon as your balance runs out, you will use your loan credit to call or SMS.

Take Loans in NTC using this method you have to:

Type <Status> and send it to 1477.

USSD

While having a subscription is a good way to automatically activate loan service on NTC, it can make us careless about Balance. So if you don’t want to activate the automated loan service and do it manually you can use the USSD service.

Here you can only take the loan of NRs 10 each time. Along with this, you will have to do this manually each time. To do this you will have to:

  • Dial *1477#
  • Press 1
  • You will get a loan of NRs 10 on your NTC SIM card.

The loan process at NTC is rather straightforward, as you’ve seen. You simply need to send an SMS or dial a USSD number. Not the process of taking a loan but knowing one can take one at NTC. That is the issue.
