When I went to Janakpur railway station, I found it to be a filthy dysfunctional mess, and the concerned authorities took no interest. Sorry to be so negative but coming from around the same area, it made me very disappointed to see the state of the only railway in Nepal. It was unattractive and messed up with neglected railroads and rolling stocks. It simply was missing out on the opportunity of being a real tourist attraction.

Simply put, all I could say was “FILTH!!!!”
