4. Inbox
Inbox shows you all the activity on your publicly shared videos. You can filter these notifications by things like comments and mentions- just go to the drop-down at the bottom.
Tap the envelope icon in the corner of Inbox to find all your private messages.
5. Me
Me is a public profile that you and other users can see. Me also shows who you follow, who follows you, number of likes on all your videos, your favorite videos and your linked social media like- Youtube or Instagram. Me is visible to everyone, so you can add a profile photo and a bio too.

How to download videos on TikTok
1. To begin, find the TikTok you want to save.
2. Then tap the share icon on the right.
3. Now, select save the video.
No save video option means the owner may have disabled the download option on their profile.
4. Once your download is complete, the video you saved will appear in your device’s camera roll and you will always have a copy of your favorite TikToks.
How to go live on TikTok
- To go live on TikTok, hit the plus sign at the bottom of your screen as if you are making a new TikTok.
- In the menu at the very bottom-right, select live.

No, this is not the challenge where you put one penny each in a jar for 365 days. That is a very good habit and quite genius too.
The TikTok version of ‘penny challenge involves sliding a penny behind a partially plugged phone charger.
This trend may look harmless but, a coin might get stuck or get crash in the meta prongs and cause spark leading to electrical damage or in some cases, fires

Driving recklessly to the rhythm of a song released back 20 years ago by DJ Casper (Mr. C The Slide Man). This is what the challenge is all about, and let me tell you, unlike other TikToks this challenge has nothing to with the choreography. Everytime Casper sings- slide left, the driver dangerously drives to the left side of the lane.
Tooth filing challenge
Personally, this challenge is giving me chills, goosebumps, and that uncomfortable and unsettling feeling even when I am writing about it. Believe me when I say my teeth literally hurts when listening about this challenge.
This challenge involves filling your teeth with a nail file Filing your teeth with a nail file just to alter your appearance is not a healthy or at the very least a smart decision. This can lead to permanent damage to the enamel in your teeth. It can be irreversible. Imagine having a brain freeze every time you eat or drink something- yes it can also lead to sensitivity.
Skull-breaker Challenge
The name says it all. This challenge involves three people standing next to one another in a line. When the person in the middle jumps in the air, the people on either side, kick out the legs of the middle person (and break his skull as the name suggests). The name itself points out that the challenge is dangerous and still it became a trend. Not surprising, isn’t it?
These are just the tip of the iceberg. There is more where this stupidity came from.
And TikTok is not to blame after all. TikTok’s community guidelines make it clear that the platform does not allow content that “encourages, promotes or glorifies” dangerous challenges. It’s the stupid human who acted foolishly.
