1 No smoking and Alcohol
Smoking and drinking alcohol are bad. Even without this stomach issue, it is generally bad for your health. While we do admit that smoking and consuming alcohol is something that a lot of people do, it is not recommended. If you are among those people, you should stop or at the very least control smoking while you have this issue. As for the alcohol, you should just stop as it directly affects the stomach.
2 Avoid Hard to Digest Foods
This is another one of those general rules that you should follow regardless of Gastric. If you eat foods that are hard to digest, you will likely have some stomach issues. Now since your stomach is already irritated while you have this specific issue, then eating hard-to-digest food is an even bigger no-no.
In general, eat properly cooked foods that are easy to digest. Even if you do eat foods that are tasty but hard to digest, eat small portions.
3 Drink Water
This is another remedy that is related to digestion. For a stomach to work efficiently, it needs an adequate amount of water. If you don’t have an adequate amount of water in your system, then your stomach will have to work extra hard to digest even simple foods. This can lead to the irritation of the stomach lining and even inflammation.
An average human being needs around 2 liters of water per day at a warm temperature and the human body uses and loses water rather quickly through sweat, breathing and digestion. So be sure to drink enough water.
4 Ginger
This is a rather well-known and proven remedy for a lot of stomach issues. Ginger contains a chemical called Gingerols and Shogaols that helps indigestion. Along with this, it also helps in reducing the symptoms of nausea, vomiting and as an added bonus if you get diarrhea, this will also help you to cure it as well.
There is no one cure for all but this root herb can reduce a lot of symptoms and even cure simple gastric as well. Consuming too much ginger is not recommended, however.
5 Mint
Mint contains Menthol that can help with a few symptoms of Gastric. It can help you to reduce nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Along with this, it is also known to reduce muscle spasms and reduce pain as well.
You can either take it as it is, grind them and make a drink or make a mint tea to get the results.

Cinnamon is a spice that is ready found in everybody’s home. It is a spice that has a lot of functions and can help in a lot of diseases and not only for gastric. It contains a few types of antioxidants that can reduce gas, bloating stomach, stomach cramps, and improve digestion.
