The film starts with Jordan Belfort getting a job as a Wall Street stockbroker for L.F. Rothschild played by Mathew McConaughey. Jordan quickly entangles with the sex and drug-fueled stockbroker culture. Soon Jordan loses his job following Black Monday, the largest one-day stock market crash in history.

I loved The Wolf of Wall Street as the film has interesting plot humorous moments in every scene. Based on a true story, Leonardo has captured the essence of Jordan Belfort perfectly and his performance in the movie is loved by all the movie freaks. IMDB rated The Wold of Wall Street 8.2/10 which is a major critical success.

The Social Network movie

This film basically tells the story of Mark Zuckerberg and how he started Facebook. The film starts in October 2003, where Mark is dumped by his girlfriend. Zuckerberg then immaturely writes an insulting post about his dumped girlfriend on his LiveJournal blog. Mark later comes up with an idea for Thefacebook and approaches his friend Eduardo.

I loved this film as the flow of the movie resonates with the characters it depicts. Another reason for me loving this movie is because of the impeccable casting. The movie moves along at a rapid pace with raw, restless, and visceral much like its characters.

The film starts off as Harpreet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor), a B.Com graduate with an average percentage becomes a salesman for a big corporate computer assembly and service company. Harpreet is basically done with the strict schedule he had been following in his workplace. So he tries new methods for the jobs he’s been doing.

The context of the movie is very much like that of the real world and can be related by many people. I personally found this film really exciting and motivated me to do things differently.

The film starts with Ray Kroc travelling as a milkshake machine salesman, with a supportive wife, who has saved enough to live a comfortable life in Arlington Heights, Illinois. With a dream to achieve more, Ray finds McDonald’s – a highly popular restaurant with fast service, high-quality food, disposable packaging, and a family-friendly atmosphere. He then meets up with the owners of McDonald’s with a plan to start a franchise.

Since I’ve never heard the original story of McDonald’s, the movie left me in kind of a shock at the end. I felt a deep connection with Micheal Keaton’s character and did a fantastic job portraying him.

The Pursuit of Happyness movie

In the film, Chris works as a salesman in San Francisco, who invested his entire life savings in a portable bone-density scanner, which he demonstrates to doctors and pitches as a handy quantum leap over standard X-rays. The scanners play a huge role in Chris’s life, as he used to sell them for their bread and butter. Chirs is married to a hotel maid named Linda but later on, the increasing financial instability erodes their marriage. Then Chris meets Jay who gives Chris an opportunity to become an intern stockbroker.

Personally, I loved the movie as it portrayed the life story of the real Chris Gardner. The performance by both the father and son was amazing, especially Jaden Smith who literally is a heartthrob in this movie. The movie strongly conveys that determination can bring someone out of a dark tunnel, which applied to me in my personal life as well.
