All employees in the construction project work to achieve a common goal still they have their responsibilities. In the construction site of all around the world, there is an environment of vigorous activity going on. This directly increases the chance of risks and accidents for the workers who are involved in the construction activity. So the safety gears should be given the priority for achieving the required goal. For this purpose, various safety gear has been designed and it should be taken seriously. These safety gear will reduce, prevent, protect against the risk by achieving a safe environment for the construction purpose.

1. Protective clothing which is commonly known as a reflective vest

The main purpose of this safety gears for the workers in the construction site for maintaining the visibility for various activities at a site such as a site inspection. You cannot just wear any safety vest, you must wear the one which is approved by the safety international standards. If everyone on the construction sites uses protective clothing during their work at the site then it will protect them from possible hazards such as impact, weather change, electricity, and other risks related to the construction site.

2. Safety gloves for the protection of hand

In the construction site, there are many coarse, rough, and sharp materials such as reinforcement bars, rods, toxics, pre-cast concrete, hot materials, electricity. And the safety gloves can easily protect you from these risks when you are handling everything personally. But for this, you must make sure that the gloves which you are using are suitable enough so that it can protect us from the hazards against such activities. 3. Safety shoes for foot protection

Every part of the body is at risk during the construction work. For protecting the foot from the possible injury that may arise, the workers usually wear safety shoes. Based on the type of injury that may arise and the nature of work, safety shoes meeting the standards and specializations are used. Safety shoes of the construction site consist of shoes with steel to cap covering and sole is also made out of steel. But for the electrician it is the exact opposite, they use non-contractive footwear. You can select base on your necessity and safety hazards.

4. Safety or hard helmet for head protection

Head is at the highest risk at the construction site so workers must wear a helmet all the time. Everyone entering the site should wear a helmet because there is a high chance of head injury because of debris or other stuff falling. The specification of the helmet should meet the guidelines of the technician issued by the Specialize department. The helmet must be safe and reliable and should be free from cracks and have a shock-absorbing lining by keeping it in good condition.

5. Face protection or eye protection glasses

Exposure of the eyes and face from the hazards can be protected by the means of protective glasses. The protective glasses for the face and eye should be free from any type of structural and optical defect. The glasses must pass the safety standard because you cannot just wear any glasses available in the market at the construction site. After all, it may not protect you. You need to wear these glasses during machine operation, welder, or bar bender.

6. Ear protection tools

Noise at the construction site is very harsh to handle so each worker must wear ear protection gear. Ear protection gear can be in the form of headset, earplug, or earmuff which should be based on the standard of safety gears in the international market. Plain cotton can also be used if the workers need to block the noise of the construction.

7. Fall protection

Fall protection is one of the most precious equipment like harness and net. These protection gear saves life in the construction site every day. But each worker does not buy it and don’t need to, because your seniors are supposed to install it at the site.

8. Safety masks

In the construction site, there are hazards that can be infectious for your respiration such as gases, fumes, and mists. For yourself from these infectious gases, it is compulsory to wear a protective mass.

9. Safety harness

The safety harness is worn at the construction site when there is a risk of falling. So if anyone is working at a certain height and they know that there is a chance of falling then to access that risk, they wear a safety harness.

10. Safety pants

As we know that none of the parts is completely safe at the construction site. So, one should wear safety pants at the construction site. Safety pants will protect the workers from the risks of injury. Safety pants are made from special material and it must be according to the international safety standard.

Safety gears are one of the most important aspects of the construction site because it is always at risk. So the workers at the construction site must make sure to wear the above mentioned protective equipment if they want to have a lesser risk of injury at the construction site.
