Types Of Color Scheme
Color schemes can be incorporated into one’s life to enhance its beauty and to harmonize it. These color schemes have also been advocated by artists and designers. Some of these color schemes are:
Monochromatic: The use of only one color with variation in its value, shade or tint.
Analogous: The use of two colors, placed adjacent to each other on the color wheel, for instance, orange and red or blue and green.
Complementary: The use of two colors placed opposite to each other on the color wheel; for instance, orange and blue or yellow and violet.
Triadic: The use of three colors that are uniformly spaced on the color wheel; for example, green, red and yellow.
