How to prepare Jwano Soup?

Ingredients of Jwano Soup
- 1 ½ tsp ghee
- ½ tsp fenugreek seeds
- 2 tbsp Carom seeds (Jwano, ajwain)
- 2 dried chilies (optional)
- 1 small sized chopped onion
- 1 tbsp crushed ginger and garlic
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt as per the taste
- ½ tsp black pepper powder
- For the soup
- Add 2 tbsp rice flour
- 500 ml water or as required
Step 1 Heating the base ingredient
Boil some ghee in a hot pan and add some Fenugreek Seeds ‘Methi’ . Let it fry for a while.
Step 2 Jwano jumps in
Add the prepared Jwano seeds into the frying pan and soak them with ghee. You can add some red dried chili for flavor after The jyanu fries.
Now add some onion and fry it. It is completely optional if you don’t want it.
Step 3 Spice it is. Let’s mix it up
Now add some Turmeric powder with salt and black powder to enhance the taste.
And again mix it all as you fry.
After frying it up you can now add some paste mixture of Ginger and Garlic. Continue frying it for about a minute.
Step 4 When It gets hot, pour some soup
While it fries, make a mixture of flour and water paste with 2 tablespoons of flour and 500 ml of water and stir it properly.
Now, mix the liquid with the frying Jwanu and let it boil.
Step 5 Time to go
After 5-7 minutes of boiling, the Jwanu soup is completely ready to ease the illness.
