What makes GOT so interesting?

1. Storytelling and plot-twists.

Game of thrones has an insanely huge and interesting story-lines. Written by George .R.R Martin , the story is unpredictable and has prodigious plot-twists. This makes the story very interesting. The shots are poetic and speak for themselves. There is a lot of Medieval drama. The story arcs are very nice and knowingly left in cliffhangers. Not to mention, the plot-twists are done with precision and for sure will leave you dumbfounded.
Moreover, the characters are well written and perfectly shown in the series. Story is intense, emotional, lusty and all other emotion you can think of….

2. Dialogue and Punchlines

Every dialogue and punchline will hit you with a boom. Like, the show itself the dialogues too are very poetic and referential. The emotion of the characters are nicely elaborated through the dialogues. Thanks to the actors, every line on the show will be filled with emotions and depth. FOR Instance
“Ofttimes a very small man can cast a very large shadow”. – Varys
“Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder…..”- Lord Baelish
And i am sure “WINTER IS COMING” will give you goosebumps.

3. VFX

Oh my lord! GOT can be considered as the epitome of the visual effects. Visual effects (VFX) is a term used to describe imagery created, manipulated, or enhanced for any film, or other moving media that cannot take place during live-action shooting. The mystical dragons wandering around her queen, the great wall in the north and creepy white walkers will scare the s*** out of you. So,there is a great use of Visual effects in the fights. VFX is just perfectly used neither it is unrealistic and cartoonish nor it is overly exacerbated.

4. Character Development

Ofttimes while making a series this huge scaled it becomes hard to give attention to the characters but this is not the case with GOT. The character that you might be hating in the 1st season might have a chance to be the favorite in the last. The character that you love in the 1st season [spoiler alert!] might get his head cut off, hand cut off or something else cut off. The loyal can become traitors, innocent may become ruthless and stone hearted can become a delicate rose.

5. Action sequence and direction

OMG! the action sequence are so compelling and lucrative. The weird and creepy creatures fighting with each other, rivalry between two brothers, fight between bastards, etc have damn appealing action sequence. The use of the swords and the fire throwing creatures is very realistic.(no sarcasm BTW)
Every action sequence is perfectly written and shown. The cinematography is amazing and when the sword slices through the stomach and the intestine falls on the ground, the throat sliced open and tongue is pulled out….. believe me it will make you shiver.
Nevertheless, they all are pretty damn amazing.

Summing Up

In a nutshell, Game of thrones is a collection of epic action sequences and heartbreaking plot twists. Also, Naked men and women everywhere, extensive use of f word , great humor and sarcasm and everyone drinking wine like its water . Believe me you will fall in love with it once you give it a shot.
